Who is this qualification for?

ILM advise that ‘these qualifications are designed to help you boost your performance as a team member and help you make the transition from working in a team to leading a team. If you are a practising team leader, they will help you be more effective and confident in your role’.

How is the qualification delivered?

You will need to attend a 3-day ‘Team Leading Course’, followed by one written assignment and two sets of short answer questions. Note the 3 course days are spread over three weeks, they are not 3 consecutive days

How long does it take to complete?

After you have attended the course, the time you take to complete the assessments depends very much on your input and on the quality of your work. As far as the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is concerned, one credit equals 10 hours of learning and so the Total Qualification Time (TQT) is roughly 30 hours.

How much does it cost?

The cost is £1,195 + VAT.

ILM level 3 Award in Leadership and Management - IN HOUSE DELIVERY ONLY

Who is this qualification for?

ILM advise that ‘this qualification is ideal if you are have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures’.

You will need to attend a 5-day ‘Management Development’ course, followed by one written assignment and four sets of short answer questions. The 5 days of training can be consecutive or split to your requirements, for example 1 day a week over 5 weeks.

After you have attended the course, the time you take to complete the assessments depends very much on your input and on the quality of your work.
